Fat Twin (blade type) SuperMicro Servers - how to display in Rack

Hello Team,

I use twin servers in our rack whereby in a 2U space I have two servers across the entire 2U. So half the 2U will be Server 1 and half the 2U will be Server 2.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how best to show two servers in the same Rack U space?

Hi Marcin,

If I follow these steps and fill out the slots it says:“Slot number cannot be filled when asset is not blade”
Where do I define a server to be blade?

Go to Menu → Asset Models → Find your model. Check “has parent” to be treaded as “Blade”.
